InsideOut Institute award for Best Research Presentation
This award will be presented to the author of a research paper that was adjudicated best Oral research paper at the ANZAED 2021 Conference:
The prize for this scholarship is an honorarium of A$1000
- The authors will have opportunity to apply for this award when notified if their submission was accepted for presentation;
- Papers are adjudicated by an awards committee, based on their research merit, importance to the eating disorder field, and oral paper presentation.

Journal of Eating Disorders award for best Poster
This award will be judged and awarded by the Editors in Chief of the Journal of Eating Disorders.
Authors of all posters will have opportunity to apply for this award when notified if their submission was accepted for presentation.
The prize for this scholarship is an honorarium of A$200.

Dietitians Australia (DA) research prize for the best Dietetic research presentation
The Dietitians Australia eating disorders interest group (EDIG) research prize encourages and recognises excellence in the area of dietetics in the field of eating disorders.
All Accredited Practicing Dietitians that are presenters of oral papers, workshops or a poster at the ANZAED conference will be eligible for the award and can apply when notified if their submission was accepted for presentation.
Successful candidates for the Award will be announced at the conference and will receive an award of $300 and a certificate. The winner will also be featured on the ANZAED website and in the Dietitians Australia newsletter.

Peter Beumont Young Investigator Award - CLOSED
The Peter Beumont ANZAED Early Career Investigator Prize will be awarded to an early career investigator from a relevant discipline who is a Member of ANZAED and has submitted an abstract to the ANZAED 2021 Conference. Submissions will be evaluated on the capacity of the work to add or extend the eating disorder field, scientific merit and potential for journal publication.
This year, oral presentations will be presented in an online format on Saturday 21 August, so we strongly encourage submissions from all delegates, regardless of your location or capacity to travel to Perth. Applications are made via submission of an Abstract to the conference.
Abstract submissions to the conference has now CLOSED.
Eligibility: As above, this prize is available to any ANZAED member who has submitted an abstract to the Perth 2021 conference, and is also an honours/fourth year student, a postgraduate student, or is within 3 years of completing their highest degree.
How do I apply? Application is made through the abstract submission site.

NOTE: the applicant will need to register, pay registration and attend the conference. The winner will then have the conference registration reimbursed plus $500 paid following the conference. If the winner elects not to attend in person, the cash prize will constitute one year of ANZAED membership plus a book voucher to the same.

Paul Foulkes Clinician Scholarship - CLOSED
The annual Paul Foulkes ANZAED Clinician Scholarship is a prize of exemption from conference registration (19-21 August, 2021) and up to $500. The cash prize will be applied towards travel expenses if the winner wishes to attend in person; if the winner elects not to attend in person, the cash prize will constitute one year of ANZAED membership plus a book voucher to the same value.
Applicants must be a clinician working in the eating disorder field, who is a member of ANZAED, and who can demonstrate that their attendance at the ANZAED/AED conference will be of substantial benefit to the clinician, his/her organization, his/her clients and the community at large.
To apply, applicants will need to provide:

Applicants must be a clinician working in the eating disorder field, who is a member of ANZAED, and who can demonstrate that their attendance at the ANZAED/AED conference will be of substantial benefit to the clinician, his/her organization, his/her clients and the community at large.
To apply, applicants will need to provide:
- A personal statement demonstrating how the clinician, his/her organization, his/her clients and the community at large will benefit from receiving this scholarship (no more than 500 words);
- A current curriculum vitae;
- The name of a referee in support of the application from the organization in which he/she works, or a professional who is aware of the clinicians work.
- Confirmation of their status as a clinician working in the eating disorders field (can be included in the personal statement or curriculum vitae).

Rural & Regional Scholarships - CLOSED
Two scholarships are available for clinicians working in a rural or regional setting to attend this year's conference. The award is exemption from conference registration (19-21 August, 2021) to attend either in-person or virtually. Applicants must be a clinician working in the eating disorder field, who is a member of ANZAED, and who can demonstrate that their attendance at the ANZAED/AED conference will be of be of substantial benefit to the clinician, his/her organization, his/her clients and the community at large.

- A current curriculum vitae;
- The name of a referee in support of the application from the organization in which he/she works, or a professional who is aware of the clinicians work;
- Confirmation of the applicant’s status as working in a rural or regional setting and as a clinician working in the eating disorders field (can be included in the personal statement or curriculum vitae).
Scholarship provided by Bridges Eating Disorders Association of Western Australia Incorporated - CLOSED
This scholarship is funded by the distribution of the funds from the closure of Bridges.
The purpose of this Scholarship is to support the development of Western Australian clinical students and clinicians treating eating disorders. The award is exemption from conference registration (20-21 August, 2021). Preference will be given to those ANZAED members who are Early Career Clinicians in their training or within the first 4 years of their clinical degree (career disruptions excepted) and to those with limited access to ED training and resources working in rural or regional settings.

The Applicant must also demonstrate that their attendance at the conference will be of significant benefit to their career development, clinical role and will benefit their workplace, colleagues, clients and/or the community.
- Provide a reference in support of the application from the institution or organization in which he/she works or a professional who is aware of the clinicians work.
- Successful applicants will have to provide one post of 150 words suitable for social media saying what was gained from attending the conference, this will need to be provided within 2 weeks from the completion of the conference.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current members of the ANZAED Executive Committee are not eligible to apply, AND
- Applicants must be current members of ANZAED, AND
- Applicants must be currently undertaking their clinical or health professional degree/training or within 4 years of completion, OR
- People with limited access to ED training and resources working in Western Australia
